Remote B2B Writing


Trailblazer New Media Content Writers are dedicated to producing well-written pieces that are incorporated into content marketing campaigns for our clients. Our Coaches develop marketing strategies and gather research to be crafted into content. The right candidate must be able to write engaging content using best writing practices.

PLEASE NOTE: The emphasis of this work is on writing about technology.


  • Use the research provided to write high-quality content for clients according to specified deadlines
  • Learn about the technology which you will be writing about
  • Conduct additional online research when needed
  • Edit the work of peers using Trailblazer New Media’s writing process
  • Work with our Business Coaches to ensure that clients’ goals are achieved
  • Attend chat meetings to manage projects (and a few live meetings from time to time)
  • Track writing and editing production work on a daily basis in our in-house project management system
  • Brainstorm and help provide topic ideas for clients based on their creative brief
  • No direct communication with clients


  • Preferred candidates have have completed an AWAI B2B Writing program
  • 1-3 years of relevant B2B content and technology writing experience
  • Excellent writing and editing skills – applicants who provide relevant writing clips strongly preferred (you don’t need to have a website)
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Desire to work in no-pressure, easy-paced, medium volume, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as a valuable member of a team
  • Creative mind regarding a client’s brief/marketing goals
  • Ability to work with other departments in the company, such as account management, sales, social media, and other production departments, such as video and design.


  • Published client content writing and copywriting samples
  • Experience writing technology-oriented content
  • Some background or knowledge of technology
  • Knowledge of AP (Associated Press) style
  • Understanding of SEO keywords
